from left to right: Ohh la la, Diva, Chili, Morange.

If you know me quite well, you would know that I LOVE to wear lipstick, and that I have quite a collection forming. I thought I would pick out a few of my favourites to share with you all. Can you guess what my favourite brand is? I just LOVE MAC lipsticks as they come in a wide range of colours and finishes. I also really like the packaging as I think it looks sleek and elegant. MAC lipsticks also smell really nice! (Yes, I am one of those weird people who has to like the smell of the cosmetic before I buy it!) As you can see from the picture, I also have one Topshop lipstick. My dad picked a few things up for me when he went to the UK for a meeting, this being one of the items. I saw this particular colour on the Topshop website and thought "Oooooh! Pretty!!!!!" as I oggled at the screen for a few minutes, I decided I HAD to buy it. Fortunately, my dad was about to leave in a few days!

Chili: This lipstick by MAC is the perfect brick-red colour. It suits most skin tones and is quite a retro looking red. I really like this lipstick also, because it is matte. I find that glossy reds don't look quite right on me. If you are just starting out with lipsticks and you want a good red, then try out this.

Diva: This lipstick is a really lovely dark purple-red colour, also a matte finish. I LOVE darker lipsticks as they give off quite a grunge feel to any outfit you wear. This can also be patted onto the lips along with some lip balm to create a sheer, berry colour. This looks very pretty as a summer alternative to this lip colour.

Morange: This was the very first MAC lipstick I purchased. I remember seeing this colour featured on a youtube video about orange lips and winged eyeliner. This lipstick has an amplified finish, so it is a lot creamier and sheer than the other finishes, however, I tend to blot my lips after applying this to make it appear slightly more matte.

Ohh La La:  This pink lipstick by Topshop is a very versatile colour as it can be worn in a few different ways. It can be applied as is to create a bright, almost neon pink, or it can be blotted to mute down the brightness a bit. It can even just be patted onto the lips to give a hint of colour. Whichever way it is applied, it's a very pretty colour.

I hope I haven't bored you too much with my rambling about lipsticks. Is there any other cosmetics you would like me to do a favourites post on? Comment below to let me know. What are your favourite lipsticks? Any I should add to my collection? Not that I really need any more!

Hi Lovelies! Today I went to Westfield with my mum to do some shopping and to get a coffee. We purchased a few things whilst we were there, so I thought I might do a "mini haul" to show the things I got. I am in no way bragging, I personally love to watch hauls on you tube and read about bloggers recent purchases.

The two items of clothing I bought, are from Farmers. I don't usually shop there as I don't tend to find what I'm looking for there but occasionally, there are clothes that I like. Today was one of those occasions!

The first item is a long sleeved knitted jumper in a dark, red/pink colour. I actually don't have many full length sleeved jumpers for winter, so this great for this FREEZING weather! I would probably wear this with a white collared shirt underneath as I love this particular look.
The second shirt is a lovely sheer, navy blue collared shirt with tiny, what looks like "Big Ben's", (I could be wrong!) This shirt would look good tucked into high waisted shorts (with tights underneath of course! Brrr!)
The last item I bought is this months issue of Frankie magazine. I look forward to reading this in bed tonight!

I hope you all had a nice week and enjoy the weekend!

What do you all have planned for the weekend?

Beth Ditto | MAC

Hi lovelies! Just recently my mum linked me to a You Tube video featuring the singer Beth Ditto. It was a video promoting her latest collection at MAC. After watching the video, I immediately searched up her collection on the MAC website. I've never really been super excited/amazed about a particular collection before, but I can safely say I LOVE this collection! Beth's collection consists of a variety of bright, colourful shades, which are both slightly unusual but wearable. I would LOVE to try some of the lipsticks as well as the peach nail varnish.

Do you own any pieces from this collection? Which is your favourite?

Review | Bella Vi

Bella Vi Blush in "Musk" $48*
Eye shadows in "Sandstone" and "Iced Coffee" $29.90*

Blush in Musk:

I am fairly picky when it comes to blush. I don't like anything with shimmer in it as I find it doesn't look right on me, so I prefer a matte finish. I also don't like anything too bright as it makes me look "unusually flushed" (if that makes sense!)
Bella Vi blushes are really nice. They come in 6 beautiful shades, and are completely matte. I was sent the blush called Musk. It is a really lovely peachy pink that goes nicely with my fair skin. The blush is fairly pigmented (it would have been nice if it were slightly more so).
One thing I did not like about this blush was the "loose powder" form. I find it would be easier if it were in pan form, but that's just me. The other downside to this blush is that it is a whopping $48 for 3g! My MAC Fleur power blush cost about the same and it is far more pigmented, so I probably wouldn't re-purchase, however I do really love the colour.

Eye shadows in Sandstone and Iced Coffee:

I really liked these eye shadows. They have just the right amount of pigment in them and they do not crease as much as other eye shadows do. Another thing I love about them is that they last a really long time. I tested them out on my eyelids without using an eye primer, so that I could really put them to the test. The eye shadow lasted all day! Hurrah! Again, I found that the loose form of this eye shadow was inconvenient and not best for on the go make up application. But if you prefer loose eye shadow then you would love these.
The eye shadows are available in 34 beautiful shades which are really smooth and easy to work with and take minimal blending. Again, these eye shadows are quite high on the pricing scale ($29.90 *gulp*), but I think It is worth it for the amount of pigmentation.

Overall I think Bella Vi products are generally quite good. I don't think their target market is younger girls however, seeing as their pricing is at the higher end which younger girls may not be able to afford. They offer a wide range of colours and products which I would love to try more of, in particular their lipsticks and eye liners.

Review | Organic Surge and Burt's Bees

Organic Surge Daily Care Face Wash

Organic Surge Daily Face Wash:

Organic Surge is a company that takes pride on creating skincare products that do not contain harsh chemicals and that are perfect for all skin types. As I am constantly on the look out for new facial cleansers that contain no "nasties" I was pleased when this was sent to me. It contains natural glycerin and aloe vera to moisturise the skin as well as organic rose geranium oil to help a dull looking complexion, and to help restore the skin.
My initial though on this cleanser was about how big the bottle is! You get a LOT for $10.20!
As for the actual cleanser itself, I was impressed. This cleanser lathers up really nicely and glides over the skin easily. It did leave my skin feeling a bit tight after cleansing, however if a moisturiser is being used afterwards, then the tightness will go away. I'm not particularly fond of the smell of this cleanser, but I don't hate it. I will probably get used to the smell upon use. I would definitely recommend this cleanser though, as it leaves your skin feeling really fresh and clean and it is really affordable.

Burt's Bees Acai Berry Lip Balm

Burt's Bees Acai Berry Lip Balm:

Burt's Bees Acai Berry Lip Balm:

I must admit that I had never tried any Burt's Bees products before trying this lip balm, so I didn't know what all the hype was about, but I now see why! With vitamins A,C,D and E, this lip balm leaves your lips feeling moisturised and healthy. This particular lip balm smells amazing too!
This product is definitely comparable to the Lucas paw paw ointment which is the lip balm I swear by, however, at $10 for a small stick of lip balm, it just doesn't seem right. Nevertheless, I really do like this balm. I would recommend this lip balm to those who do not mind paying a little extra.

Have you tried either of these products? If you have, tell me what you think.

Bath time | Scented candles

Ecoya Candle $51

Now that the beginning of winter is here and the colder weather creeps on in, taking time out to relax in a hot bath is a must! You'd be surprised at how relaxed a bath can make you feel. I love to light a few scented candles when I have a bath as it not only creates a really nice light but it also makes the air smell amazing! My two favourite scented candles are the Lemongrass and Ginger candle by Ecoya and a French Pear candle (unfortunately I could not find the brand name, but I do know that Ecoya do one very similar).

As for the actual bath, I always like to add something to the water. Sometimes I like to add a bubble bath, (who doesn't love bubbles?). But on those days where I can't be bothered with the bubbles I like to use either an essential oil such as lavender or lemon or a bath melt. My favourite bath melt is the Dreamtime bath melt by Lush. It contains sleep inducing scents and skin softening properties. It is fairly inexpensive too at only $9.50 for 30g, now that doesn't seem like you get your money's worth, but you really do. A little bit goes a long way, so I cut mine into quarters. That way I get 4 baths out of one bath melt.

What products do you like to use in your bath? I would love to know!

Review | Travalo

As some of you may know, I am always on the scout for new innovations in the make up and beauty industry. One day I came across Travalo, a device that allows you to take your perfume with you anywhere you go. I was intrigued! I can honestly say that this is an excellent product. The Travalo is a portable perfume bottle in which you can pump your favourite perfume into.

Travalo refillable Perfume atomizer $25*

It is very simple to use as it requires only 3 simple steps.

1. Place your chosen perfume on a flat surface.

2.Pull the spray cap off you perfume bottle. (Don't worry, It won't ruin the lid. It can be easily clicked back on afterwards).

3.Line up the bottom of the Travalo with the perfume spray "tube", and pump the device up and down. You can see the Travalo filling up with perfume through the little window on the side.

This device is super handy as it can be taken anywhere in your bag or purse. It is relatively small measuring only 86mm and it has a full sized spray. It can also be taken on planes because it is make of aircraft grade aluminium.
I would definitely recommend this device as it is great for taking anywhere and the bottle won't break, and you can buy them in different colours so you can match them with your outfits!

You can purchase Travalos from the Travalo website or from various pharmacies around the world.
